Is it true that humans only create art and music in order to show off to the opposite sex?

Evolutionary psychologist Geoffrey Miller, author of the book *The Mating Mind*, argues that humans create art and music primarily to demonstrate their fitness as potential minds. How plausible do you find this hypothesis?

I don't find it true. I think that most artists do what they do because it is fun for them.
